Who we are
Kathy Moreau Founder & Design Principal
Katherine is a New York Botanical Garden certified landscape designer and commercial horticulturist practicing residential design for over a decade. Her gardens have been featured on multiple landscape tours in Westchester County, as well as published in Better Homes & Gardens and leading regional publications. She is a licensed home improvement contractor in Westchester County, as well as a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and Association of Professional Landscape Designers.
An award-winning horticulturist and conservationist, Katherine is actively involved in organizations that build community from the ground up. Former leadership positions include Chairman of Gardens and Landscapes, John Jay Homestead (Katonah, NY), President, Rusticus Garden Club (Bedford, NY) and Founder/Director of InterGenerate’s Heritage Egg Co-op (Katonah, NY).

Kristen Moreau Senior Designer
Kristen is an architectural and landscape designer. She recently designed 35 parks for the Chicago Park District. Kristen received a Masters in Architecture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and holds a B.A. in Art and Visual Culture from Bates College. At Verdant View, she focuses on design support and business development.
